Memorial Garden
The Memorial Perennial Garden was the last to be created in 2010. This garden was designed to represent a pleasing perennial garden. If you are standing in the parking lot looking at the gardens, it is the garden farthest to the left. As of 2022, it contains the following perennial plants:
- Penstemon “Pink Chablis”
- Sedum “Autumn Joy”
- Iris white, yellow flag and peach
- Sweet Autumn Clematis
- Geranium “Max Frei”
- Garden Phlox “David”
- Garden Phlox pink
- Coreopsis “Sterntaler”
- Russian Sage
- Ornamental Grasses “Karl Forester”
- Compass Plant
- Anemone Plant
- Hosta
- Lily (unknown name)
- Salvia “Marcus”
- Small crab apple tree
Stars in the photo represent stepping stones. As of May, 2024, additional stepping stones were moved from the main walkway of the Teaching Garden to this Memorial Garden. Included are stones from Master Gardeners who have passed away.
