The Memorial Perennial Garden was the last garden to be created in original Teaching Garden in 2010.  This garden was designed to represent a pleasing perennial garden.  If you are standing in the parking lot looking at the gardens, it is the garden farthest to the left. As of 2025, it contains the following perennial plants:

• Coreopsis A. “Leading Lady Charlize”
• Coreopsis B. “Sterntaler”
• Crab apple tree
• “Daisy Mae” Daisy
• Garden Phlox “David”
• Garden Phlox pink
• Geranium “Max Frei”
• Iris white, yellow flag and peach
• Lily (unknown name)
• Ornamental Grasses “Karl Forester”
• Penstemon “Pink Chablis”
• Russian Sage
• Salvia “Marcus”
• Sedum “Autumn Joy”

There are stepping stones throughout this garden honoring Master Gardeners who have passed.
